I bought this item based on the other customer’s review. I also got this as a christmas present for my mom. She LOVES opal anything.. I’m sure she will still like this set– however, this is clearly NOT opal. It’s a really kind of cheap looking crystal that’s a weird opaque white color. It appears to be opal in this picture, but I unfortunately was mistaken. My bad I guess. Good price though & fast shipping with sufficient packaging. I would recommend this seller– but not necessarily this product.

I have so many compliments on this set every time I wear them. The color of the opal crystals goes with everything. They are substantial and dainty at the same time. Very feminine. Everyone thinks they are real opals!

I thought the style was very pretty but when I saw it in person I was disappointed at how translucent and cheap looking the crystal was. It doesn’t resemble opal at all, in fact it almost looks like it will glow in the dark. I think the picture is misleading. It’s too bad because it is a unique style.

I got this necklace and earring set for my mom as a christmas present. She is very hard to shop for so it wasn’t easy to decide what to get her. The opal allows you to wear the items with a wide variety of outfits. She seemed to like it and wore it to the annual christmas dinner with the extended family. She got complimented on it from quite a few people.
